There are several ways to create an event in Shape and you can use a combination of these methods to make up your timetables. The ways to create an event are:
- Create a new event from the File menu
- Create a new event from a timetable
- Create a new event by course group
- Copy and paste events
- NZ Create an event for a child course via the parent course
It is not possible to create exam events in Shape; instead this is done in the Exams module in Central. The Shape application simply displays the exam events as read only for timetable purposes.
